Elisabeth-Maria first arrives in New York City, settling in with the Prince and establishing her core relationships with the party, her herd and the various people in the cities kindred community. She also finds a church to attend and joins the School of American Ballet. ==== Main Story ==== ---- Travel to New York ---- I found a way to enter [[setting/New York City]] by ship. The Giovanni graciously received me and guided me to the Prince. I was presented to the [[setting/Michaella|Prince of New York]], and was able to receive her Hospitality after a successful presentation. //(Session 1)// Though I don't own all that much, I did come with some luggage, which got left behind with the Giovanni. They were kind enough to return my luggage, as well as the other crate to be delivered to the Empire State Building //(Session 3)// ---- Court of the Prince ---- [[setting/Tamara Patterson]] took me shopping for clothes //(Session 3)//, and moreover she comforted me when I was sad. I think its safe to say we are friends now //(Session 6)// [[setting/Carol Meadows]] and I share a building and we often go to Elysium together //(Session 8)//. After staying there a while, I noticed my presence in the Empire State Building was disturbing to the staff so I made an effort to prevent future transgressions //(Session 9)// and helped out with some chores so Mr. Worthington and Julia know I won't be any trouble //(Session 10)//. Since Carol helped me out after the Gentleman's Club disaster, I know she's my friend //(Session 17)// ---- Social Clique ---- I went with the Prince to the local Rotary Club where she made me a member. After some confusion regarding fasting //(Session 5)//, I managed to establish a herd here //(Session 6)// I needed more herd at the Rotary, but the Prince seemed to have some reputation problems which affected my ability to do so //(Session 11)//, apparently because she was not very charitable. Luckily the Prince didn't mind if I did some work to fix that. Additionally, Julia suggested I should get an assistant to help me //(Session 12)//. Tamara and I went shopping again and I learned there is something called 'Victoria's Secret'. Also, one member of my herd is apparently a model there! To convince people the Prince was indeed charitable, I organized a charity event, though it didn't really get off the ground until Kevin and Dwayne finally agreed to help //(Session 16)//. With their help, we invited loads of important people and raised $ 1.300.000 for charity, while resolving the Princes reputation problem //(Session 18)// After clearing up the misunderstanding the Rotary held about the Prince, I made some new friends //(Session 19)// allowing me to eventually expand my Herd. Though my aid was appreciated, Julia felt the need to arrange someone to help me out with daily needs. [[setting/Emily Preston]] seems to be a lot smarter and more organized than myself, so I'm very grateful! //(Session 21)// ---- Friends in the Community ---- [[setting/Cierra Enestine]] noticed my lack of a proper gown and asked me for help with her business, to which I agreed. She arranged a gown for me and I played hostess for Japanese businessmen, being able to keep the gown afterwards! She's so kind and I just know we are friends now! //(Session 19)// As a new arrival who lived with the Prince, I was asked to pose for a painting in the Toreador gallery, though Tamara is angry with me for some unknown reason //(Session 20)//. She seems to even be avoiding me //(Session 21)//. [[setting/Imogen Wyatt]] invited me to come shopping with her and I accepted //(Session 22)//. We went and it was clear she was just way too good looking. I must admit I'm a bit jealous, but I do think we are friends now //(Session 25)// Apparently Tamara believes I did something, though I am not entirely sure yet what that would be. I did get a date for my painting though //(Session 26)//. When I went there however, there was some drama over others who also wanted to be in the gallery. I sacrificed having myself painted to avoid hurting anyone's feelings //(Session 27)// ---- Find a Church in New York ---- New York has a lot of churches, and I had to find the best one to attend. With the aid of Julia I learned there is a Russian Orthodox Church in Brooklyn of the right kind that I can attend //(Session 2)//. It has a diverse crowd of Russian refugees and I think I will fit in nicely there! //(Session 7)// I didn't have money for the church //(Session 10)//. Easter was hard and exhausting but I managed to get the money together to make a proper donation //(Session 14)// [[setting/Oxana Vasileva]] arranged a date for me with [[setting/Evgeni Grigoriy]], believing I was in dire need of a marriage. She's not entirely wrong, but she doesn't know about the various 'conditions' that sort of prevents any of that //(Session 19)//. The date eventually happened, and that was all we'll say of it //(Session 20)// I first heard of [[setting/Jonah]] when I arrived in New York, but I only finally met him - and discovered he is true and good in a divine way - much later. He asked for my help but I was too afraid to donate my blood... I am so ashamed... //(Session 24)// ==== Side Stories ==== [show:tiles] Story: Chapters: [[Chapter 1]] [/show]
