Elisabeth-Maria's interactions with the church
Church in New York (( Find a church to attend + Meeting the Faithfull
New York has a lot of churches, and I had to find the best one to attend. With the aid of Julia I learned there is a Russian Orthodox Church in Brooklyn of the right kind that I can attend (Session 2). It has a diverse crowd of Russian refugees and I think I will fit in nicely there! (Session 7)
I didn't have money for the church (Session 10). Easter was hard and exhausting but I managed to get the money together to make a proper donation (Session 14)
Oxana Vasileva arranged a date for me with Evgeni Grigoriy, believing I was in dire need of a marriage. She's not entirely wrong, but she doesn't know about the various 'conditions' that sort of prevents any of that (Session 19). The date eventually happened, and that was all we'll say of it (Session 20)
I first heard of Reverend Jonah when I arrived in New York, but I only finally met him - and discovered he is true and good in a divine way - much later. He asked for my help but I was too afraid to donate my blood... I am so ashamed... (Session 24)
A reminder of God
A priest in Alexandra spoke about how there may be references to Kindred in the Bible. I'm not sure what to think of that... (Session 60) While visiting Mount Sinai, I felt the fear of God in my bones. Then people asked for my blessing. I am not living up to what I should be... (Session 61) Back in New York I celebrated Pokrov and bought an icon of the Theotokos for Prince Michaella. She seemed to appreciate it, and wants to talk about faith at some point in the future (Session 64).
Check in on Reverend Jonah
The Prince asked me to check in on Reverend Jonah. I went to visit and heard strange noises and the Reverend said he didn't need my help... (Session 69). I reported my findings but maybe I can find out more (Session 71). I checked in with the Reverend again with the aid of Markus - turns out there is a werewolf there. I informed the Prince of course (Session 73)!
