Nothing to wear
Society requires wearing a different gown to events, and I've been scraping by. Badly. I completely ran out of outfits and having no way to replenish them just won't do (Session 18). Cierra gave me a gown (Session 19), and Lindsey got me one as well (Session 34). Finally, after my performance of Kitri where I had to make my own outfit, the Prince kindly gave me my own clothing budget (Session 37).
Pharaoh's Gold
Nehbet arranged for us to meet a woman, Senepset as we'd learn later, to help us get clothes to wear in Egypt (Session 45). After meeting her in Cairo she took us to a women-only shopping center, where a complete disaster with an automatic staircase ripped my debutante gown (Session 48). Fortunately, the store - and various others - were able to provide me with a whole set of new outfits for my visit to Egypt.
I'll really need to find some proper Egyptian jewellery to wear with it. The Egyptian Museum seems to have some good pieces, though my friends suggest I ask a contact of Senepset instead at the Elysium (Session 49). I spoke with Francine and Andre Le Compte who have the jewellery, but they aren't entirely convinced to loan it out yet. I dropped plans to use the museum (Session 50). I managed to pick up some useful knowledge about Francine and Andre through gossip which we might be able to use to secure our jewellery (Session 51). After promising to introduce Francine to the Prince of New York and arranging more car matters for Andres, I managed to loan 1.6 million in Egyptian jewellery. Once we are done in Luxor, we'll need to eventually visit Cairo again to return the jewellery loaned from Andre and Francine as they aren't allowed to visit Luxor anymore. (Session 52). After visiting Luxor and Abu Simbel, we returned to Cairo and I returned the jewellery. I'll miss having such fine things again, but fair is fair. As a return favour, I arranged for Francine and Andre to be allowed to visit Luxor again. (Session 59)
Money for Clothing
The Demon didn't like my looks, so under its power, I went shopping to get some better clothes that don't look as... sweet. (Session 75). I also got the address of a woman named Karen Crawford who can help me get rid of some bodyhair (Session 76).
After the ritual finished successfully, I spent some time with the prince and dropped hints that I need more money (Session 77). I got another chance to make the suggestion and this time I made a note I'd have more dresses to show off if I had more money to spend, which seemed to be getting a more positive vibe. I'll need to continue this line (Session 78).
Gabriella was kind enough to take me shopping and we slipped away from my guard to do so. Once I got back, Mr. Worthington was quite annoyed and I made sure he complained to the Prince. I was then able to leverage this by saying I just really needed new clothes, which the Prince seemed to acknowledge! (Session 81)
With earlier shopping sprees already bringing in some better outfits, I've continued to escalate with more serious outfits to look stronger and seduce the Prince and I reminded her I'll need stretchy outfits for contortions and yoga (Session 83)
I promised the Prince some tight outfits and contortions and she finally relented and made additional funds available for clothing which the demon took immediate advantage of by ordering a lot of new stuff. Shortly after, the demon was exorcised though, so now I'm not sure what to do next... (Session 84)
Winter Fashion
I learned scarves are the next thing for ballet classes (Session 74)! When the possession by the demon ended, I could not believe what I was wearing (Session 84). The demon has left me with a closet of strange clothes, but the Prince seems to like them a lot on me, so I've not told Emily to get rid of them yet (Session 85). I've not been able to find time to get something new to wear due to resting, so I was forced to wear one of the new dresses the demon got me to Elysium. At least I could cover up a bit with a scarf... And clothes the demon bought are still arriving in packages! I should probably get something new that will please the prince without making me look so... available (Session 86). While the demon was possessing me though, the rage has already ended and scrunchies are back. Luckily I already have those (Session 87). I finally bought some extra scarves to go with my outfits, but I am going to need something more as it is just too cold, I had to borrow a jacket and even a blanket (Session 88). Next I tried - and failed - to buy a fur coat (Session 89), but the Prince finally bought it for me for Christmas and I feel all warm (Session 91)!
Shopping Trip
Lindsey and I agreed to go shoe shopping. She has such great taste in shoes and I want to do something nice for her (Session 102). We marveled at some of the strange creation and I bought a pair of designer boots for Lindsey. We also selected some for me which I'll pick up next week as Emily didn't give me enough money and said she'd need a few days to get the rest together (Session 103). Lindsey and I set a date to head back and buy the boots I liked (Session 108), though the date had to be moved for other priorities for a bit (Session 110). Finally though, Lindsey and I went back to buy them, and they are absolutely gorgeous (Session 111) and I got to show them off at Elysium... and to the Prince! (Session 112).
Marcus asked for help with shopping for new clothes, so I decided to make it a trip for the whole group (Session 118) as Lindsey also needed a new dress to go with her new car (Session 119). Suddenly there seemed to be some haste so we set the trip for tomorrow (Session 120). We finally went shopping with the whole group, buying clothes for Marcus and Dwayne and even some underwear - a fun trip all in all (Session 121)!
Picking up the Pieces
Tamara destroyed a large number of my outfits! Some might be salvagable, bit it is a mess... (Session 112) Marcus heard about the trouble and offered to throw some shade on Tamara by associating her with the Sabbat, but I felt that went too far (Session 113). I've started work on repairing what can be saved, though some of them are a lost cause (Session 114). I continued to work on them, but I think I need some help, which eventually led me to find an expert seamstress to give me some lessons in the evening (Session 120). The seamstress and I began work on doing repair work and she had a lot of useful advise (Session 126). I took another class, but the late - or rather early - hour is a bit difficult (Session 127). After a lot of delays, I finally managed to get another class in, and I do seem to be improving (Session 137).
My studies continue, though I may have a bigger issue - one of my gowns in the Court of the Nightmare Queen is... broken (Session 138).
During the Easter break, I finally managed to finish my sewing lessons and I have started work repairing some of my damaged outfits (Session 141), though I made a mistake and ruined one of them. At least Lady Ségolène seems to have fixed my red gown (with a mirror no less!) (Session 142). I did not give up though and continued to work (Session 143). I finally managed to repair the last of my gowns - or at least the ones that could be worked on (Session 146).
Clothing Conflicts
Carol did not appear at Elysium. When we went to check on her we found she had nothing to wear. I loaned her a gown, and we went shopping soon after - everyone needs a good summer wardrobe (Session 145).
I checked in with Carol to make sure she was okay, turns out she's actually trying to get the right outfit for Dwayne and she's unsure about his tastes. I promised I'd inquire subtly about it (Session 146).
I checked in with Dwayne - he apparently wants Carol to wear a stolen hoodie and likes light blue. I loaned a light blue gown to Carol for Elysium and checked the Punch for the styles worn there, reporting them back to Carol (Session 147).
I got Marcus to steal Dwayne's hoodie for Carol in exchange for some interior decorating, but now everyone was upset. We managed to sort it out in the end. Men are SO contradictory and confusing (Session 148)!
I borrowed a gown from Tamara for the fourth of July - unbeknownst to me, Emily put it away in my closet, possibly mistaking it for one of mine (Session 155). Tamara kindly took me shopping to help me recover after my ordeal, paying for my clothes (Session 158)
All of my good will with Tamara may have been for naught though as the Prince asked some... questionable questions of me, and Tamara may not be entirely pleased with me showing off my new underwear to her (Session 160)
I went shopping with Tamara though there was a definite tension and I didn't find a good gown (Session 161) so after that, Lindsey and I went shopping as well. The situation with Tamara escalated though and she beat me up. I apologized and Emily with approval from the prince helped me to heal up (Session 162).
Tamara and I shopped again for my upcoming trip, I think that settles the matters for now. I also spent some extra time with the prince to show my yoga skills. I think things will be fine when I return (Session 164)
