Fair Diplomacy
Via the LARP, we entered the realm of the fairies and met Tamlin who kindly allowed us to visit the court of the Nightmare Queen, where we met various important fey (Session 122). I met Lady Ségolène again and she gave me some of her amazing blood, as well as some wonderful outfits! I made an oath to the Nightmare Queen to present and work for the interests of her court and people to the kindred community in New York and to make effort to improve the relationship between the two communities, as long as I live in New York or until she decides to let me off. She made me her ambassador on the spot (Session 123)! With my new position, I was given a place to stay as a sort of ambassy in the Hedge, and a cloak by which I could enter. If only I could have kept my clothes! (Session 124)
Play the Part
We will have another LARP where I will play Princess Luine, though I will make mine and Lindsey's costumes myself this time (Session 120). Despite having no time to spare, and some interferance from Tamara, I did manage to finish the costumes. We travelled to Central Park where I became Princess Luïne, leading a diplomatic mission and negotiating a truce between robbing rebels and a duke who asked to dance with me (Session 121). After visiting a baron, we were taken from the LARP into the fairy realm, so I suppose we were believable! (Session 122)
Merry Meeting
Cierra asked my help to try and get in touch with some of the Fey in Central Park. Naturally I agreed (Session 117). To get in touch, I will act in the LARP-play again as Princess Luïne to gain entrance to the Hedge (Session 120). Via the LARP, we entered into the realm of the fairies and the court of the Nightmare Queen where we figured out which fairy to set up a meeting with (Session 122). I spent more time socializing and building relationships for my eventual request, waiting for the right moment despite Marcus' worries (Session 123). Finally, the perfect opportunity came along and I managed to arrange a meeting with Cierra two days from now (Session 124) The meeting took place and I managed to guide it in the right way - Cierra seems most pleased! (Session 125)
Saving Mr. White
We met with a man called Mr. White who has been trapped in the Hedge a long time. Naturally I offered to help him, though Marcus seemed to have some very strange idea's about how to handle the situation (Session 123). When we left, we took Mr. White with us to New York - he seemed pleased and willing to meet Cierra as she might have work for him (Session 124) Cierra was kind enough to give him a job and he seems to be safe now! (Session 125)
Sabbat Nightmare
I learned at the Court of the Nightmare Queen that Sabbat have been petitioning her for leverage in New York. As I am the Ambassador now, they'll have to go through me if they want to try that again! (Session 124) I explained what happened to the Prince and she seemed very unhappy with me about it. She didn't even raise her voice! (Session 125)
Later on, I heard Marcus had been attacked by the Sabbat after speaking to them. When I asked, he told me they might be at Open Elysium (Session 128).
At Open Elysium, I found a member of the Sabbat and told them to leave the Nightmare Queen alone, which she took very serious, going to deliver the message immediately. The prince was somewhat suspicious though... (Session 131)
After the Sabbat lady left, there was some trouble and there was even a risk for the Masquerade, but I was good and I told the Prince what I knew and promised to check with her first next time, so I think things are okay now. I should inform the Nightmare Queen though, she will be pleased (Session 132)!
I wrote a letter to the Nightmare Queen, but I want to show it to the Prince first. Unfortunately she didn't have time for me today yet (Session 133), though I finally managed to get her to read and approve the letter, so I can deliver it (Session 137).
I delivered the letter personally though the Nightmare Queen was pretty clear she doesn't want letters but prefers me to deliver he message verbally. While there, it turned out one of the Sabbat had gone around me to there and he was given into my keeping as a captive. I took him back to the real world, but he was attacked just as he left when he was not being very nice and I think he might have died, so I fled (Session 138)!
Figure Skater
Cierra asked me to accompany her to meet a figure skater who is apparently quite talented (Session 126). At Elysium she informed me the meeting will take place on the 9th of April (Session 130).
Cierra took me to an ice ring in Central Park where I met Nancy Kerrigan - she is a wonderful skater and I was super impressed! (Session 134)
At the Court of the Nightmare Queen it became clear that Nancy's presence may be playing in the Duchess of Winter's favour, which I have no objection to (Session 138).
Bottled Spring
Markus came to me with an incoherent story about bottles being stolen at Cierra's ice ring. I decided to buy some new ones for him to give him next Elysium, and at his request, I'll check some rumours at the Fey Court later (Session 141).
I received an invitation by the Duke of Spring and various party members contacted me about the matter. Lindsey also heard about the bottles, so I visited the Court. The Duke of Spring had a major victory, related to the bottles he claimed in a letter (Session 142). The Duke has planned a ball for Beltane and we all got invited, so I arranged outfits for everyone. We traveled to Chinon castle past scary fires and I learned Isaac needs help from Lady Arathusa regarding the invite he got (Session 143).
I got Markus his new bottles before arriving at the Beltane Ball, and he seemed to not be too impressed. Perhaps I misunderstood. Regardless, the ball was amazing, and I danced with various guests. I tried to impress the importance of keeping the Ice Rink on the Duke of Spring, though I almost got stuck in his castle. The Nightmare Queen saved me, but then I seemed to get in trouble there too and Lady Cliodhana, the Duchess of Fall, saved me in turn. She helped though I'm not sure I'm out of the woods there.
Lindsey also stepped up for me against the Nightmare Queen, and she almost got tossed off the castle wall as a result - I only barely managed to save her. I was forced to punish her by denying her access to the Maypole dance. Speaking of which, I got matched to Lady Cliodhana there, so looks like I may be stuck with her for a while. Fortunately, the Duke of Spring wouldn't risk angering both the Duchess of Winter and the Duchess of Fall, so it looks like he will not escalate the situation further (Session 144). When Cierra also agreed not to escalate the situation further, I felt much assured that this will all work out (Session 145).
Cut out the Cutting
I learned at the Court of the Nightmare Queen that kine are cutting trees and bushes in the south of Central Park and they are not too happy. I'll have to look into a way to stop it (Session 124). At Elysium, I learned there were some folk working on Central Park and to talk to the Gangrel about it (Session 125). After talking to them and asking around, I learned the city is tending to the sick trees in the park, and taking the opportunity to do more while they are there (Session 126). Talking to a friend of a Rotary friend, I convinced an expert to get me a plan to heal the trees instead of clearing them out (Session 130). I checked at the Rotary meeting but no news on the plan yet (Session 132).
At the fundraiser gala, I spoke with the Mayor of New York about the situation in Central Park. I am not sure I made sufficient of an impression, but its a start (Session 136). I also managed to get my hands on the better plan from my Rotary friends and sent it to the Mayors office (Session 138).
I discussed the matter further at a fashion show with other notables, and at the Rotary and got the advise to seek out the Press to generate a chance for the Mayor to justify following the new plan (Session 141). At Elysium, I was able to convince Kenneth Forbes to publish an article for me in his magazine (Session 143).
Kenneth came through and the article got an immediate response from the mayor that he would save the trees - I was able to report the success to the nightmare queen shortly after, and she seemed pleased (Session 146)!
Party
Marcus Magic
Marcus came to Elysium with strange runes on his forehead. How on earth did that happen!? (Session 115) Though I am still not sure how it happened in the first place, the matter seems to have been solved in the Hedge... in a rather gruesome manner I'd rather not think about (Session 124)
Shopping Trip
Marcus asked for help with shopping for new clothes, so I decided to make it a trip for the whole group (Session 118) as Lindsey also needed a new dress to go with her new car (Session 119). Suddenly there seemed to be some haste so we set the trip for tomorrow (Session 120). We finally went shopping with the whole group, buying clothes for Marcus and Dwayne and even some underwear - a fun trip all in all (Session 121)!
Dwayne's New Sword
Dwayne seems to have spotted an opportunity now that we're in the Hedge - he wants to get a fairy-blessed sword. I took him to meet Lady Clíodhana who is apparently an expert in Oath weapons (Session 122) Dwayne managed to win the joust much to the chagrin of the Duchess of Winter, though he had to break his disguise of Tyrone for that (Session 123). I helped arrange for him to take an oath in front of the Nightmare Queen and the Duchess of Fall gave him the sword in return for it. He is never to drive a metal vehicle, or he will lose his sword again... and whatever curse the Duchess of Fall might bring (Session 124).
Church Incident
Marcus came to visit and we talked about various topics amongst them religion. He seems to have some doubts and worries. At church, he lied to the priest though about his history which was oddly disturbing. What's going on?
After church, there was a loud banging like gunshots and I panicked a bit. Marcus was there and he just left me, though luckily, Oxana was able to take care of me. She saw me cry blood though, and once I was home she asked about it despite my pleading she wouldn't. I was forced to clear her memory a bit to preserve the masquerade and feel rather guilty now... (Session 133)
In the chaos, I almost forgot about Richard the driver. He was apparently hurt, so I sent some flowers! Also, Lindsey wants to talk to some of the people at church so I invited her to come next Sunday (Session 134). Lindsey arranged a headscarf (Session 138) and joined me, and I made some introductions of her (Session 139)
Tamara and I went shopping for an Easter gown. At church I got some bad news (Session 140). I had no black gown anymore so I had to borrow one from Carol, though I hid the real reason under Good Friday... Finally we celebrated the Lord's Resurrection though, and I am now in the mood for something more colourful and seasonal (Session 141).
Friends
Other Woman
I met Sandra Schröder, an important Tremere figure (Session 119). As it turns out, this woman used to be involved with the Prince, much to Tamara and my own chagrin (Session 120). News did not improve when I heard she visited the Prince two days ago (Session 125).
Elysium was held in a fancy night club and Tamara was kind enough to arrange a gown for me - in Tamara-esque style... worse though, the Prince ditched me to talk to Sandra! Tamara formulated a plan though and I asked Imogen to help. Conveniently, I was able to combine the plan with aid for Marcus, asking the Prince to reassign my guards to protect him (Session 128).
Imogen came through rather well and Tamara and I worked desperately to make sure things went well. The prince wasn't too pleased and said there might be consequences, which has me worried. It seems that Sandra has left New York though, so that's good (Session 129)!
Victoria's Secret Show
Kimberly Parson asked me to find some tickets to a secret fashion show in exchange for helping me arrange the Met for the Fundraiser Gala, so of course I'm on the case (Session 117). I spoke with the models at my Yoga class who knew who I might get tickets from and Cierra was kind enough to help me get four tickets - two for Kimberly and two for me (Session 120). After arranging a meeting for her, Cierra gave me the four tickets - I'll pass two of them on to Kimberly when I see her (Session 125). I invited the Prince to join me for the show as well and handed the tickets to Julia for that (Session 126) and the tickets for Kimberly were passed to her as well (Session 127). She seemed very happy with them (Session 132)!
I spoke with the Prince about the upcoming show and she indicated she is looking forward to it (Session 138)! When we finally went though, it turned out to be a show for underwear! I don't think I could get more embarrassed until the prince bought me a set (Session 141). To be fair though, Tamara discovering just when I received the outfit as a package at home came close - she was not pleased at all (Session 145).
Yoga Demo
I've not been to Yoga in a while due to circumstances, but I should return soon as the Prince wants a demo of my skills soon (Session 113)! When I returned to Yoga class I met some new ladies who worked out there, all fashion models, so I decided I'll need a new outfit (Session 116). I finally picked one up in a cute little store in the garment district (Session 117). Even so, I ran into an unfortunate situation as Emily didn't give me the money for my Yoga lesson (Session 120). Emily did not give me any money again, and the teacher was kind once more, but this is getting too embarrasing. Luckily, Cierra was able to help out as I helped her with the fairies, and it couldn't have come at a better time (Session 126)!
I made some close friends with the other Yoga girls, some of whom are models - they seemed to know about my work in Tel Aviv and were very interested (Session 129). The girls were most helpful advising me on potential places to find outfits as I worked on developing a routine (Session 130).
During the Gala, I took some of the Yoga girls to see the Prince though she was not impressed. She did indicate after though that she was really looking forward to the performance. I best step up (Session 136)! I did some training with Tamara who was most interested (Session 137) and finally bought some colourful outfits though I had a hard time picking the right one (Session 141).
I finally gave a performance for the Prince - and Tamara. The prince seemed pleased and expects me to do more performances like this in the future; Tamara is not as enthausiastic though (Session 146).
Japanese Guests
Cierra asked my help to host one of her Japanese guests. Naturally I agreed (Session 117). The date of the meeting is coming up and Cierra gave me instructions. She'll have a gown (to keep) and jewellery (to loan) for me (Session 138). At a later Elysium, Cierra made note the guests will be here soon, so I best get ready (Session 145).
Cierra got me a beautiful gown and some lovely jewellery and I helped to entertain her guests. They seemed happy - a bit too happy perhaps, though Cierra managed to keep them in line. All went well and I got to keep the gown as well as the jewels (Session 146)!
Clockwork Jason
Jason took me to Central Park where I entered the Hedge. When I returned he wasn't there anymore (Session 138).
My assumption that Jason had returned home after taking me there was -very- wrong. Instead he entered the hedge with me and got lost! I managed to convince the Nightmare Queen to find the pieces he had been scattered into and put them back together. However, it appears some of him is clockwork now! Oh dear! At least I managed to take him back home... (Session 142)
I explained Jason's situation to Isaac in hopes of help. Isaac agreed if I'd help him with an issue for his friend Penny. She wants some territory in Brooklyn. I agreed to talk to Lidya de Witte on her behalf (Session 143).
At the Beltane Ball, I managed to arrange possible help for Jason as well, a Doctor of some sort. To get his help though, I'll need to get rid of a building in Central Park (Session 144).
Mr. Worthington asked about Jason, he was probably concerned. Meanwhile, I learned the building in Central Park is a transmutation house and it cannot be removed or it will break the street lanterns. By means of various community members I managed to get in contact with Rastus who agreed to disguise the transpiration house by painting it over. Hopefully that will satisfy the Fair Folk (Session 145).
Rastus did a great job, and Isaac agreed to help me with the doctor. That was a good thing because it turns out the mysterious stranger's doctor was -not- the right man for the job. We'll have to keep an eye out for anything to help Jason, but he seems to be okay with it all and Mr. Worthington has assigned him as my personal bodyguard. I suppose that's as fair a solution as I can expect (Session 146)
Bloody Ballet
I took some time besides ballet class to get closer with the other dancers (Session 120). It seems to be on the right path, and I joined some of the girls to go "clubbing". These clubs are -really- loud! (Session 126). It is time I find some additional sources of blood though, as I had a hard time keeping myself under control at the Rotary already, and this month is looking like it will be a problem (Session 127). I did manage to make some new friends of noble descent at my ballet class and invited them to practice with Gabriella and me at her ballet room (Session 128). During our side practice I was able to gain some sustainance from the other ballerina's, who may become part of my 'herd' (Session 129).
I had some trouble controlling myself again, reiterating the importance of managing this (Session 131) though I at least made some progress expanding my hunting grounds by introducing my yoga friends to Cierra and helping my ballet friends at the Fundraiser Gala (Session 136).
I went out with my yoga friends and arranged some more personal meetups. I also got some very useful tips for hunting at Elysium (Session 140). I spoke with Mr. Worthington to allow me to hunt in the car, he sort of agreed, but suggested I needed other feeding spots, and to talk to Carol (Session 141).
I spoke with Carol who recommended some spots that I managed to use successfully right away. She also suggested I talk to Nicolas and Christine for more (Session 142). I spoke to both at Elysium. Christine recommended locations at Broadway and Nicolas said he'd take me on a tour of Tribeca in exchange for a future favour (Session 143). Nicolas took me on the tour soon after, introducing me to various club owners (Session 145). I took out my ballet and yoga friends individually and managed to get a thing going of us visiting clubs and the likes, which means it should now be easier for me to hunt (Session 146).
Picking up the Pieces
Tamara destroyed a large number of my outfits! Some might be salvagable, bit it is a mess... (Session 112) Marcus heard about the trouble and offered to throw some shade on Tamara by associating her with the Sabbat, but I felt that went too far (Session 113). I've started work on repairing what can be saved, though some of them are a lost cause (Session 114). I continued to work on them, but I think I need some help, which eventually led me to find an expert seamstress to give me some lessons in the evening (Session 120). The seamstress and I began work on doing repair work and she had a lot of useful advise (Session 126). I took another class, but the late - or rather early - hour is a bit difficult (Session 127). After a lot of delays, I finally managed to get another class in, and I do seem to be improving (Session 137).
My studies continue, though I may have a bigger issue - one of my gowns in the Court of the Nightmare Queen is... broken (Session 138).
During the Easter break, I finally managed to finish my sewing lessons and I have started work repairing some of my damaged outfits (Session 141), though I made a mistake and ruined one of them. At least Lady Ségolène seems to have fixed my red gown (with a mirror no less!) (Session 142). I did not give up though and continued to work (Session 143). I finally managed to repair the last of my gowns - or at least the ones that could be worked on (Session 146).
