Play the Part
We will have another LARP where I will play Princess Luïne, though I will make mine and Lindsey's costumes myself this time (Session 120). Despite having no time to spare, and some interferance from Tamara, I did manage to finish the costumes. We travelled to Central Park where I became Princess Luïne, leading a diplomatic mission and negotiating a truce between robbing rebels and a duke who asked to dance with me (Session 121). After visiting a baron, we were taken from the LARP into the fairy realm, so I suppose we were believable! (Session 122)
Once there, we met Tamlin who kindly allowed us to visit the court of the Nightmare Queen, where we met various important fey (Session 122). I met Lady Ségolène again and she gave me some of her amazing blood, as well as some wonderful outfits! I made an oath to the Nightmare Queen to present and work for the interests of her court and people to the kindred community in New York and to make effort to improve the relationship between the two communities, as long as I live in New York or until she decides to let me off. She made me her ambassador on the spot!
We met with a man called Mr. White who has been trapped in the Hedge a long time. Naturally I offered to help him, though Marcus seemed to have some very strange idea's about how to handle the situation (Session 123)!
With my new position, I was given a place to stay as a sort of ambassy in the Hedge, and a cloak by which I could enter. If only I could have kept my clothes!
When we left, we took Mr. White with us to New York - he seemed pleased and willing to meet Cierra as she might have work for him (Session 124) Cierra was kind enough to give him a job and he seems to be safe now! (Session 125)
Ice Queen
Cierra asked my help to try and get in touch with some of the Fey in Central Park. Naturally I agreed (Session 117). To get in touch, I will act in the LARP-play again as Princess Luïne to gain entrance to the Hedge (Session 120). Via the LARP, we entered into the realm of the fairies and the court of the Nightmare Queen where we figured out which fairy to set up a meeting with (Session 122).
I spent more time socializing and building relationships for my eventual request, waiting for the right moment despite Marcus' worries (Session 123). Finally, the perfect opportunity came along and I managed to arrange a meeting with Cierra two days from now (Session 124) The meeting took place and I managed to guide it in the right way - Cierra seems most pleased! (Session 125)
Cierra asked me to accompany her to meet a figure skater who is apparently quite talented (Session 126). At Elysium she informed me the meeting will take place on the 9th of April (Session 130).
Cierra took me to an ice ring in Central Park where I met Nancy Kerrigan - she is a wonderful skater and I was super impressed! (Session 134)
At the Court of the Nightmare Queen it became clear that Nancy's presence may be playing in the Duchess of Winter's favour, which I have no objection to (Session 138).
Soon after, Markus came to me with an incoherent story about bottles being stolen at Cierra's ice ring. I decided to buy some new ones for him to give him next Elysium, and at his request, I'll check some rumours at the Fey Court later (Session 141).
I received an invitation by the Duke of Spring and various party members contacted me about the matter. Lindsey also heard about the bottles, so I visited the Court. The Duke of Spring had a major victory, related to the bottles he claimed in a letter (Session 142). The Duke has planned a ball for Beltane and we all got invited, so I arranged outfits for everyone. We traveled to Chinon castle past scary fires and I learned Isaac needs help from Lady Arathusa regarding the invite he got (Session 143).
I got Markus his new bottles before arriving at the Beltane Ball, and he seemed to not be too impressed. Perhaps I misunderstood. Regardless, the ball was amazing, and I danced with various guests. I tried to impress the importance of keeping the Ice Rink on the Duke of Spring, though I almost got stuck in his castle. The Nightmare Queen saved me, but then I seemed to get in trouble there too and Lady Cliodhana, the Duchess of Fall, saved me in turn. She helped though I'm not sure I'm out of the woods there.
Lindsey also stepped up for me against the Nightmare Queen, and she almost got tossed off the castle wall as a result - I only barely managed to save her. I was forced to punish her by denying her access to the Maypole dance. Speaking of which, I got matched to Lady Cliodhana there, so looks like I may be stuck with her for a while. Fortunately, the Duke of Spring wouldn't risk angering both the Duchess of Winter and the Duchess of Fall, so it looks like he will not escalate the situation further (Session 144). When Cierra also agreed not to escalate the situation further, I felt much assured that this will all work out (Session 145).
Cut out the Cutting
I learned at the Court of the Nightmare Queen that kine are cutting trees and bushes in the south of Central Park and they are not too happy. I'll have to look into a way to stop it (Session 124). At Elysium, I learned there were some folk working on Central Park and to talk to the Gangrel about it (Session 125). After talking to them and asking around, I learned the city is tending to the sick trees in the park, and taking the opportunity to do more while they are there (Session 126). Talking to a friend of a Rotary friend, I convinced an expert to get me a plan to heal the trees instead of clearing them out (Session 130). I checked at the Rotary meeting but no news on the plan yet (Session 132).
At the fundraiser gala, I spoke with the Mayor of New York about the situation in Central Park. I am not sure I made sufficient of an impression, but its a start (Session 136). I also managed to get my hands on the better plan from my Rotary friends and sent it to the Mayors office (Session 138).
I discussed the matter further at a fashion show with other notables, and at the Rotary and got the advise to seek out the Press to generate a chance for the Mayor to justify following the new plan (Session 141). At Elysium, I was able to convince Kenneth Forbes to publish an article for me in his magazine (Session 143).
Kenneth came through and the article got an immediate response from the mayor that he would save the trees - I was able to report the success to the nightmare queen shortly after, and she seemed pleased (Session 146)!
Clockwork Jason
Jason took me to Central Park where I entered the Hedge. When I returned he wasn't there anymore (Session 138).
My assumption that Jason had returned home after taking me there was -very- wrong. Instead he entered the hedge with me and got lost! I managed to convince the Nightmare Queen to find the pieces he had been scattered into and put them back together. However, it appears some of him is clockwork now! Oh dear! At least I managed to take him back home... (Session 142)
I explained Jason's situation to Isaac in hopes of help. Isaac agreed if I'd help him with an issue for his friend Penny. She wants some territory in Brooklyn. I agreed to talk to Lidya de Witte on her behalf (Session 143).
At the Beltane Ball, I managed to arrange possible help for Jason as well, a Doctor of some sort. To get his help though, I'll need to get rid of a building in Central Park (Session 144).
Mr. Worthington asked about Jason, he was probably concerned. Meanwhile, I learned the building in Central Park is a transmutation house and it cannot be removed or it will break the street lanterns. By means of various community members I managed to get in contact with Rastus who agreed to disguise the transpiration house by painting it over. Hopefully that will satisfy the Fair Folk (Session 145).
Rastus did a great job, and Isaac agreed to help me with the doctor. That was a good thing because it turns out the mysterious stranger's doctor was -not- the right man for the job. We'll have to keep an eye out for anything to help Jason, but he seems to be okay with it all and Mr. Worthington has assigned him as my personal bodyguard. I suppose that's as fair a solution as I can expect (Session 146)
