The Overgrown is the wilderness that surrounded the immediate area of the Elderglen.
The forest is large, wet, and thriving. Its canopy was dominated by yew, hemlock, and asp, who permitted ample, shimmering lights to descend for a range of ferns to spread in the boulder covered grounds below.
Curling tree limbs dangled from a couple of trees, and a medley of flowers, which grew in a sprinkled and disorderly fashion, added some bright touches to the otherwise brown lower level.
