Differences on How do I raise my experience?

Differences between by and the current version
Your character can earn experience by completing the following: **ROLEPLAY EXPERIENCE (RPXP)** This will be awarded at a rate of 25-50 XP a day for just casually roleplaying in the chat. To be clear, this means going into a chat room with your characters "mask" and RPing with other players. If the RP is substancial and a few lines long, your character will be rewarded. **Example 1:** PC1: "Hello" PC2: "Hello, how are you?" PC1: "Great. You?" PC2: "Great." This would not hold any substancial conversation, and nothing would be rewarded. **Example 2:** PC1: *John Smith enters into the Tavern, and glances at the patrons, trying to place the faces in the crowd. He sits down at the bartop, ordering himself a berry ale.* PC2: *Jane Smith turns her head to greet him, raising her own glass of wine* "Greetings! I haven't seen your face around here, what's your name?" This would hold as much better conversation, and has substance. This would be more likely for the DM team to award experience. ** STORY EVENTS ** Another way to earn experience is to post under the "Daily Event" forums. You can post your character's event for the day. For example, Quill could be out practicing her craft as a leatherworker, so the player would post a sort of journal entry about what is happening, her thoughts, or her past experiences. These posts could be worth up to 75 XP depending on the depth of the post. ** ADVENTURE RP ** The final way to earn experience is by attending events held by the DM team. This could be as easily as slaying a few beasts, completing or introducing a storyline (SL), or simply assisting an NPC with their trouble. An important note on this. In this chat we will not allow "lurking". Unless the adventure is pre-planned, our DM team will only be starting adventures for people that are in-character, and openly RPing. If you are lurking in the OOC lobby, and pop in to an adventure room, you will be removed. We reward activity, and people that are actively looking to play, not lurkers.
