Differences on Luluja Luja
Name: Luluja Luja
Class: Dark Knight
Background: Sundered
Luluja was born to a wealthy merchant family in the City-State of Ul'dah. Her early life wasn't too remarkable, she was taught the family business and was expected to take over when she grew to adulthood.
Things took an interesting turn and Lulu's destiny was forever changed when she began having reoccurring nightmares if darkness, death and destruction. Nothing that her family did seemed to help with the nightmares and even the most powerful White Mages could make them stop.
Rather than let the nightmares make her live in fear, Lulu made it her mission to discover the meaning behind the nightmares, specifically the darkness that seemed to be calling to her each night. She had resisted the call since the nightmares started, but she began to feel that the darkness wasn't necessarily an enemy. One night, in the nightmare, Lulu took control and turned to face the darkness that she had run from each and every night. She stepped into the deep darkness and found that it welcomed her like a long lost lover.
When Lulu awoke she found that her entire body seemed to radiate darkness almost like a flame. Her eyes had changed from a light blue to a striking red and her previously dark hair had turned a pure white. When her family saw her new state they were horrified. A decision was made to imprison the young Lalafell until they could cure her, but she had taken it upon herself to leave before her family could capture her.
Lulu spent the next few years wandering the land, training herself to use the dark power within to protect travelers on the road without anyone ever knowing. She acquired dark armor and a dark bladed great sword that was seemingly abandoned in a cave. What she didn't know is that the weapon and armor had been left there purposefully by a seasoned Dark Knight who had been watching over the young Lalafell but said knight never made himself known to her and left for his own purposes after making sure she found the weapon and armor.
Now, Lulu spends her days still wandering the land and protecting people who are in need. She never asks for gil on the rare occasions that someone discovers that she was the one to save them but does not turn down meals and a bed for the night whenever they are offered. The nightmares persist but she has learned to live with them and sees them as a prophecy of sorts, one that she intends to see to the end and stop whatever dark, evil thing might be at the end of that road.
