Founded in 1919 by [[Joseph Patterson]], the Daily News is one of the largest papers in the country, with a circulation of over 4.5 million. Still led by the founder, the newspaper covers everything from local Chicago news to politics to national issues, and is generally known for being the first to get the news on most subjects.
