Francis Dimaio is the head of the [[Pinkerton's National Detective Agency]] in [[Chicago]], and a renowned detective in his own right. He was involved in the killing of Butch and the Sundance Kid, as well as infiltrating and a Maffia operations by posing as a Sicilian counter-fitter in prison. Naturally his arrival in Chicago was not met with a lot of favour from the [[South Side Gang]], especially since he is currently heading an effort, sponsored by the [[Mayor]], to stop Mafia kidnappings.
