South Loop is a large neighbourhood below the Chicago Loop, featuring a diverse mix of residences, a large railyard, warehouses and highrises.

It is most well known though as the 'Vice district' with brothels, speak-easies, burlesque theatres and inexpensive hotels, under the control of the South Side Gang
