This week we improved the ways you can customize your campaign, and polished a few convenience features into the way schemas and indexes work.
This week's blog post elaborates on the reason behind disabling campaign components.
Campaign Configuration
- The Chat can now be disabled (and re-enabled) for the entire campaign. To do so, visit the configuration screen and select the 'Campaign Type' configuration options at the bottom.
- Disabling the chat will remove the Chat option from the menu, and disable any chat-related features in the campaign.
- The Forum can now disabled (and re-enabled) for the campaign. To do so, visit the configuration screen and select the 'Campaign Type' configuration options at the bottom.
- Disabling the forum will remove the Forum options from the menu, and disable any forum-related features in the campaign.
Wiki / Schemas
- The "New Page" menu can now be configured via the 'Quick create' setting in a schema's configuration to allow hiding a schema from the menu. This helps keep rarely used schemas that are nevertheless useful (such as Deity) out of the quick create menu, which in turn improves the usefulness of the menu.
- if a schema index has no entries, such as when there are no People yet on your wiki, it will display a link to create a new entry page. This helps to get you started populating the wiki.
Schemas
- In the schema view, the links to the allowed namespaces now link to the index for that schema. This helps navigate to a place where you can get a quick overview of the schemas as used on the wiki.
