This week we have upgraded the Forums old "organize forums" screen and replaced it with the much improved "Manage forums" screen. We have also added a feature that makes it easier to coordinate people across multiple time zones, and fixed some smaller issues (two of which are notable and mentioned below in the changelog).

This week's blog post highlights the new Forum Management interface.

Forum

• Upgraded the "Organize Forums" screen to the "Manage Forums" screen.

• It is now possible to create and adjust forums directly in the forum management interface. This greatly improves the efficiency and ease of use of any adjustments and changes your make to the forums.

• It is still possible to edit a single forum directly from the forum view itself, and the removal of a forum is still done via the edit

• Added the [time] notation that produces a nicely displayed time that is time zone aware: 14:30 +02:00

• Added additional support for [time] with a full date of the form YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM which produces: 2020-09-18 17:30 +02:00

• The [time] notation also supports explicit time zone offsets of the form +HH:MM, +HHMM, and the special Z. This produces the same output: 14:30 +08:00. Time zone notation is also used when editing a text written by someone in a different time zone.

General Usability

• Alls lists of values that allow dragging and dropping between them have been upgraded.

• Examples of where you might experience improvements for:
  • the Vampire configuration: dragging extra fields between columns, dragging attributes between columns
  • the Vampire character sheet: dragging merits to flaws and vice versa
  • the Pathfinder configuration: dragging racial traits to alternative racial traits and vice versa
  • the Pathfinder character sheet: dragging equipment between locations, dragging spells between levels

Pathfinder

• On your character sheet you can now drag and drop equipment between locations, even if there is no equipment listed in that location.

Fixed bugs

• (Community report) Fixed bug which caused Witches, Wizards (and any other class with a spell book) to display the wrong spell level heading in the Pathfinder character sheet display. This has been fixed, and the level counting now correctly includes the 0th-level list.
