This week we improved schema editing by focusing on performance. Due to the heat we have postponed some of the other updates to next week.

Wiki

• Great improvement to the wikipage and character sheet submission logic. When editing the wikipage and character sheet, the system will save any changed parts, as well as the part you are currently focused on, which helps with upgrading character sheets when the game system configuration is changed. Additionally, you are then brough to the just saved part (either page or sheet), and to the focused part when both were saved.

Schemas

• Schema edits for schemas that are used by lots of wiki pages are much faster now. Previously 200 pages would take up to two minutes, which was clearly unacceptable. With these improvements, the complete process of updating all 200 wiki pages takes around 5 seconds. You can now edit and adjust schemas without significant waiting time.

• The type selection dropdown shown when editing a field now has a short short description with the type name. This helps to clarify what types did what again.

• The help page has been improved to give some extra explanation on good field names and schema concepts, as well as an overview of available types. Go have a look!
