The City of Al'Qazzharrah is filled with excitement and wonder. Ever populating from foreigners seeking riches and power, the land of Zarag boasts harsh terrain, deadly climates and vast seas of sand and dry lands. Even the capital City of Al'Qazzharrah, surrounded by vast waters that cannot be drank as it is, for it has the salts of the oceans within it. The only reason that the city has thrived so well is because of the amazing engineers who have discovered the processes of water filtration and purification that keeps the city filled with fresh water.

Al'Qazzharrah

Pronounced Ah(l)-Kah-Za-Ra, The city has become heavily populated with trade, and adventure.

Upper District

In the inner city walls of the Upper District, is the Palace, surrounded by all of the noble houses that spread across Zarag and even farther, the guardsman barracks here house the noble guards, composed mostly of noblemen in the field, and their pages or squires. The Palace is generally off limits to all but the most official of business, court and council usually being held within the House of Order, within the Silk District.

Old Town

Just beyond the walls of the upper district, stretching for most of the southern half of the city, is the "Old Town". This is where you will find a lot of the people and families who have been here since the beginning of the city, lineages that can be traced back to the first building. Though there aren't many stores or business' in the Old Town, one could still find a quiet eatery or tavern to rest at while they prepare for the next adventures.

The Night Docks

Following south in the district of Old Town, One will eventually reach the Night Docks, named because all of Al'Qazzharrah night traffic is dealt with there, the barrier of the dock-market, and wharf keeping most of the noise out of the residential areas. The night Docks feed into the canals of the city, where smaller vessels branch off to make deliveries to the deeper businesses. The main Canal travels South-East to North-West through the city, and eventually ends into the Western Ocean, where it acts as a man-made shortcut through the peninsula that boarders the city's South-West Coast.

East Gate

The Eastern gate from the upper district is what leads to the Farmlands via the road to the noble quarter, where the farmers bring their taxation supplies to the noble district. Just outside the gate and walls of the Upper District lie varous houses and homes that function as guard outposts for protection of the farming lands, and just beyond those are the farmhouses and residents of the land workers. The city's aquaducts feed into the farming district where it provides fresh, clean water for crops and animals.

Ironshade

The small district of Ironshade is where one will find most of the adventuring guilds, Trade supplies and training for preparation of exploring and adventuring. There are several smiths and specialty markets which provide weapons, armor, barding, mounts, etc. Things that the city residents don't need on a day to day basis. The Ironshade district has a canal and road that goes strait to the dockyards in the Night Docks.

The Bazaar

The Eastern-most section of the city houses the expansive Bazaar. This is where people go to buy and sell just about anything they can imagine, from trinkets and second-hand junk, to amazing magical rarities. The Bazaar is full of guards and mercenaries that keep their citizens safe and usually free of theft. There's rarely a spot in the Bazaar one can be without a guard within 30 feet of them. The Bazaar also houses the grand Auction House. This place is where people come to offload their most expensive belongings, and rare magics that need special care. One will notice that the Grand Auction House also boasts the Wayfinder's Guild Which also supplies a connection between all of the Grand Auction Houses in Zarag via Teleportation magics.

The Silk District

Named for it's masters of silk weaving and high quality of silk products, the district has also become home to the more wealthy of citizens. The district houses most of the mansions in the city, the upper-class citizens make this district their home, employing special guards and militia to protect their lands and properties. The District also has the higher end items and shops. Fine dining establishments, this is where one would go to find their expensive clothing and personal items.
