Code of Conduct (CoC)

Here at the magical world, there are a few rules that players are responsible to follow, and understand that Admins and STs are responsible for enforcing. Most of these rules are common sense, so they may go without saying (But we're going to say them anyway).

1. OOC and IC should always be separated.

- It's okay to discuss IC in OOC, but never discuss OOC in IC. Any conflict or oppression in Character should remain in Character. Never take IC conflict OOC, unless it's in good sport. It's okay to laugh about IC Conflict, but never cause OOC grief over IC Hardships.

- If you feel you have an IC Conflict that is breaching into OOC. We ask that you step away from the conflict and let it have time to cool down, if this cannot be resolved, we ask that you have an ST or Admin moderate the conflict and help to resolve it.

2. There may be triggering situations that come up IC, such as Racism, Bigotry, Oppression, etc. These can be fun to RP for some people, and although we do not endorse these sorts of behaviors OOCly, we do allow people to play them ICly, and STs may run scenes that involve these triggering situations. We ask that you as a player be responsible and avoid scenes where triggering themes are part of the story. We ask that STs warn a group of Triggering themes before a scene is ran, and at this point any trigger sensitive player may ask an ST if the scene involves their particular Trigger, and if it can be toned down to accommodate the player. We ask that the player be respectful if the scene cannot be accommodating, and understand that some stories require a harsher or darker tone.

- We ask that STs be sure to use triggering scenes sparingly and respect that some players cannot enter these scenes for very good and private reasons. We ask that STs try their best to A> Be accommodating to trigger sensitive players by toning down the triggering, and/or be sure to run your scenes along side another ST who is running a NON triggering scene. This is to be certain that no one is left out of any scenes.

3. OOC Should be left free of any of these triggering themes. We don't want racial, sexual, cultural or any other kind of slurs or slander. Everyone who enters our game is welcomed unless they prove to be unwelcomed by breaching the CoCs. We should all be adult here, and treated as such. Please PLEASE respect everyone as a human being. It is all anyone needs.

4. Drama should be left at the doorstep. No one here should carry over any drama from other places, or real world. If you cannot get along with someone, don't interact with them. If you cannot be respectful, we don't want to deal with it. We are all here to have fun!

5. Please be aware!!!!! Scene logs and messages are visible to administrators (And myself). So do not post anything that you are not comfortable with someone else reading. No private information, no passwords, no personal information of any kinds. No ST or Administrator will ever ask you for these, so do not ever feel you need to give this information to anyone for any reason. Ever.

5 b. Because of these log visibilities. You should be aware that some people may see your naughty naughty scenes. Though only administrators (Site builders) have the ability to do this, none of us will ever read through logs unless it is necessary to resolve a conflict. So your privacy is important to us, but be warned if a conflict comes up in a room that you are being naughty naughty in, it may be said (Naughty naughty scenes should ALWAYS be done in private rooms. This helps the visibility of them to be kept private.)

5 c. I would hope this goes without saying, but because of this we also have to enforce that any sexual, abusive, or scenes involving illegalities with minors (Anyone under 18) are prohibited on site. For legality reasons we do not wish to be involved with any of these things, in or out of fiction.
