Aelus, also known as the Seafarer, is a green-haired Gnome who travels the oceans by ship. He is married to Ekal and is a pirate and a merciless captain to his crew, more than once risking sailing his ship off the edge of the world. He is said to have been to every land in existence and to know more about the sea than any.

According to legend, the Seafarer can take the form of a multi-tentacled creature who drags ships under water, drowning those aboard, to use in his travels later. Those who do not sacrifice to him before a trip risk his wrath.

Priests of the Seafarer often live by the sea or travel around the coast and along rivers. They rarely stay in a single place very long. For tales of far away lands, these are the folks to go to.

The Seafarer is worshipped by sailors who follow the Voran Pantheon, and those who make long trips often sacrifice to him before they leave. There are shrines to the Seafarer at many a crossroad.
