Saint Rowan is a saint who used to wander the land doing good deeds. He was killed by a mob when the darkness in a witch he killed inhabited a crowd of people in a village causing them to lynch him. The woman who did him in, known as Black Betsy, corrupted a sword with the deed. After his death, the villagers regretted their actions and converted to Ecclesia.

His tomb was found in the stone quarry recently and his remains were moved to the Cathedral for verification and research. The darkness that killed him roamed through the city for a while but was eventually defeated by the cleansed blade that killed Saint Rowan.
