Alurt, also known as the Mage, is the God of Magic and King of the Gods. He is married to Raya-Thu and the brother of Wutysa. He is said to control the winds of magic and keeps order amongst the Gods, making sure each carries out their assigned duties.

Priests of the Mage concern themselves with the magical community and often take up a place within councils and committees dedicated to magic. They sometimes experiment on those born with magical powers (rather than acquiring them through study), thereby seeking to understand their God better.

The Mage is often asked for favours by spell-casters, hoping to increase their power and abilities and learn new spells.
