In taverns around town the Ballad Of the Green Girl is being sung. A mysterious tale, it tells of a small beautiful girl, green of skin and dressed in vines and leaves who swept through the city gathering a curious parade. Upon entering a park in the Ecclesian Quarter of the city the girl began to dance. Dancing joyously and wildly the girl spun and spun becoming a blur and forming a small wind funnel. In a spray of spring flowers the wind dissipated and standing where the funnel had been a slim white birch stood. The Druids and Church Guard were called to inspect it but when they arrived they found only a small stump cut close to the ground.
