A band of mercenaries has not so much moved in to cause trouble as made their presence known in the central quarter. There are six of them in total, but they are obeying the law, paying for their accommodations with legitimate coin. But children avoid them as they pass, and the guard seems itching to take them down if they step so much as a foot wrong.
