Werewolves!!! Howls are being heard all around the city as the moon creeps higher and higher in the season. It has to be werewolves. Why the very air is chilled by their maddening howls. People in the outer quarters are buying silver at outrageous prices as the threat of the pack grows nearer and stronger. "You've heard the howls haven't you? I can feel an itch starting.. I was bitten by a dog the other day. It looked rabid, but it had a collar!"...

As a captain of the naikl house guard it was only proper that he and his patrols step up there frequency to show those within his patrol area that they cared and would be present to handle whatever threat these howls where.
