The swift actions of a heroic City Guardsman saved a woman's baby today near Weavers Path, when the woman accidentally locked herself out. The Guardsman managed to kick in the door and remove it wholesale. The heroic action reunited the woman with her baby.

Her husband later commented "if that guard hadn't kicked down the door, I'd have gotten a ladder from the shed to climb in through the window"
