Vanessa settled down inside a spacious tidal pool in her seacave underneath Kraken Manor. It was here she did most of her witchy work. This time, she was determined to find out who was responsible for hiring an assassin to kill Treasure.

She cast Contact Other Planes first to ask that question, "Who hired the assassin to kill Treasure". She could ask four more questions so she selected

"Who else knew about the plot"

"Was this sanctioned by the Head of Our House"

"What was the motivation behind this"

"Are they going to try again"

She then attempts a Legend Lore to find out as much about Treasure's past as she can

After the affair in the sewers, Vanessa put Treasure to bed, Once she had settled down and gone to sleep, Vanessa started a Legend Lore ritual to find out as much as Treasure as she could.

Why was she vomiting up black ichor. Had she come into contact with Darkness at some point? And what was the relationship between Theresa and Treasure? Plus any other useful information. Had Theresa done something to Treasure?

The earlier Contact Other Planes had told Vanessa that Theresa had been behind the assassination attempt but it hadn't told her why. So she attempted the spell again, concentrating on that question as well as seeing if anyone else knew about it.
