A day after retrieving a Magical Box from a woman that did not know to not mess with magical devices in a Hostel. The device when retrieved appeared upon opening to cause a Forest or Jungle to spring up complete with wildlife local to a Republic Island. Serena sits in a cave some distance from the Beach and examines the Box doing simple tests to determine it's possible use and age.

*Serena was able to determine that the box appeared to be old, from the Iron period, the era of the Empire of Duirt and House Darkmoore. She was unable to determine how it worked, however and it seemed unwilling to activate for her. Perhaps it was out of charges, or only activated in specific circumstances, but sadly, this was beyond her ken.

She did however figure out a way that the item could be safely stored, provided it was kept in a magic vault. The Ivory Tower, she knew, held facilities for such, as did the Grand Library. Likely the Cathedral would be able to contain it as well. It would probably be wise to take it to one of these locations for safety, lest Serena might find a jungle springing up in her cave overnight.*
