With a majority of the most necessary reconstruction done, many of the crusaders who came to the cities rescue are slowly starting to return to their homes.
A small group has remained behind, however, and has started construction on a new church in the West Quarter. Already named the Crusader Church, it is intended to serve as a large monument to the fallen, and will have the names of those who died engraved in its stones.
While it is expected to take months to finish the building, many of the building materials are being donated from cities in Eccles so as not to strain the limited resources of the city itself.
