As soon as Baele and Treasure got home from the adventure, he let Treasure head to Vanessa's room while he fetched the witches of the house.

We need to find out what is happening with Treasure Kraken. I have seen her full on enter a bezerker state at fights but then is sick and ejecting black bile from her stomach afterwards. She has been alive for months and months and still is weak and easily exhausted far easier than a normal person. Today she was in a whole other state, mentally out of it, barely aware of where she is. We need to make sure that Theresa didn't do anything to her when raising her, or afterwards. Vanessa should be able to assist you as those two are close.

"I've seen it myself too Baele" Vanessa says once she has woken up. "And I have no idea what's causing it. If it is the resurrection then it must have been radically different to mine as I'm not feeling any ill effects apart from feeling cold all the time."

"Please describe this .... mental state she was in. What happened?"

She was there, but not completely. As if she was having a hard time placing where she was or what she was doing or much of what was around her. A Dire Bear attacked and she would normally go charging in like a berzerker but this time she just barely could put together pulling her dagger slowly from it's sheath. She didn't enter the fray, happily but I had to kill the bear quick so she wouldn't get hurt. She was cold, not dressed properly for travel in the cold but it didn't seem to be bothering her. Luckily some of the villagers we visited had some hand me down cold weather clothing...off topic but if she or we have enough money, we should get her some Boots of the Winterlands and make them stylish, something she'll want to wear as her very own. I only bring that up because she is with you the majority of the time rather than with me.

Vanessa frowns a bit as she thinks. "Nope. That's a new one. Maybe she's got a lot on her mind but, I'm not sure that would explain it. But yeah, this is a bit of a concern. I'll watch her as best I can but, there's this problem with Sir Ulric that involves a member of House Xueris whom we think has been abducted. I .... don't really want to get Treasure mixed up in that."

"Boots of the Winterlands though. That's a good idea. Unfortunately I'm about a hundred gold short and I'd rather not let her borrow mine for ... reasons."

She sighs. "I found her in my bed this morning too - plus someone had tidied up my room this morning, even with the 'Keep Out' sign on the door. I may as well go check up on her while I wait for a message from House Xueris."
