Though some in the family viewed him as an outsider, Marcus Atianna recognized the boy’s potential. Vaelion’s innate connection to the ocean, combined with a resilience that allowed him to thrive where others might falter, made him an ideal candidate to serve the house’s maritime interests.

Raised aboard Atianna ships, Vaelion grew into a formidable warrior, adapting to the life of the sea with ease. His natural swimming ability, combined with his mutagenic alchemical transformations, made him a living weapon both above and below the waves.
