I'm also in favor. However, I've not yet had the energy to neatly merge this into the rules wiki. So let's just mark it approved for now! (Merging into the rules wiki is secondary to actually approving and using the rule!)

There are also some ideas floating around in my head with regards to stackable knowledge expertise bonuses to better represent the specialization that is a signature of the setting. Such stacking is not necessarily related to legacy bonuses, but would allow the legacy bonus to grow a little beyond the normally available growth via feats and level-ups.

For now, I've approved the proposal as-is. So that we can start using it.
