King Kurosawa rules over the city-state of Toho. He is an old friend of Kanbei, and adviced Azizah on a course of action when she was unable to feed while residing in Toho.

Kurosawa is a Lunar, Changing Moon caste. This became clear during the wedding of Kanbei, when his lunar mate was asked to speak.
