Darren made his way through the halls of the Luminarum with a steady pace, his full place clinking as he walked. He did not worry about stealth, but he was mindful of the gravitas of power and as such did not try to hurry. Everything in it's place and time.
He came to one of the clerks offices and knocked politely on the door, waiting for them to open. When they did, they did a double take to see the nobleman there.
"Sir Icebane. My Lord... I did not expect a visit from you...Is everything in order?" The Clerk asked, flustered. Darren waved a hand slightly.
"All is fine, I wish to see about having paperwork for a proposal filed for presentation to the council, and the paperwork for a new Relic Hunter to be prepared," he replied calmly.
"Of course, of course my lord, please, come in..." The clerk stepped back, allowing Darren entrance to the office and the armoured warrior entered and looked around, before taking a seat in front of the desk of the clerk. The clerk hurried to the desk and sat down.
"Now... Lord Icebane... you said there was a proposal to be filed before the council?" Darren nodded.
"That is correct. I chanced to speak to one of the Priestesses of Selvara, one Elena... and she highlighted the desire that is growing to see about ensuring that the dwarven population of Frosthaven have a proper place to worship Morgrim." The Clerk nodded, pulling out a sheet of paper and scribing the details on it. He reviewed it for a few moments, then stamped it with a seal and set it on top of a small stack of papers on a tray that reads Council matters.
"Now, you said we have someone seeking to become a Relic Hunter. Who is this individual and what are their qualifications?"
"Galanthus Nival, preferring to be called Snowdrop."
"Ah yes, the halfling lady... we've been hearing tales about her and her activities on cheering morale already. And you believe she is qualified for this task?" Darren nodded.
"The reports I have read say she is capable with a firearm, well versed in exploration and has arcane capabilities to round it off. In addition, she has a group she travels with regularly and as such has contacts with the Frostwardens and the Academy already."
"Excellent, excellent, that's going to make the work here that much easier. If you will sign here, my lord, to verify that you have assessed Miss Snowdrop, I will see about ensuring she is registered as a relic hunter." Darren signed where indicated, then stood.
"If that is all?" The clerk nodded and Darren turned and walked outside, returning once more to his own patrols.
