The Jade Bracelet is a simple green bangle, acquired by Tiffany as part of the ‘loot’ liberated when stopping a human trafficking operation.
It is made of true jadeite and polished smooth into a perfect circle. It is sized for a smaller sized woman and generally will not fit larger individuals.
Powers
Store Chi: While worn, the Jade Bracelet can be used to store one point of Chi. The wearer must be able to expend a point of Chi, which is then stored in the bracelet and stays there indefinitely. Only one point of Chi can be stored in the bracelet at a time.
When the bracelet is worn and charged, the wearer can use the Chi stored inside as if it was their own Chi. Notably, this can only be used as Chi directly. It cannot be substituted for blood.
Alignment: While Chi is stored inside the Bracelet, any wearer who does not have her own Chi pool, or who has no Chi stored, registers as Yin or Yang aligned to match the Chi stored in the bracelet.
History
The Jade Bracelet was owned Liu Er, an orphan who would later become Northern Song Dynasty Empress Zhangxian Mingsu, better known as Empress Liu. She received it from then Prince Zhao Yuanxiu during their youth as a gift during her time at his palace. The empress was buried with the bracelet in her own mausoleum in western Gongxian, but it was stolen when the tomb was robbed by graverobbers, exchanging hands several times and eventually finding its way into the hands of the Running Monkeys, where it was traded several times before being stolen by some arrogant western vampires during a raid.
