Vampires are near-human Supernaturals that were once regular Humans, who were turned into vampires by other vampires. They must drink blood to remain alive, and also use it to power whatever magical powers they posses.

Vampires are burned by sunlight and cannot walk around during the day, instead falling to sleep during which they seem dead.

As they are created by others of their kind, they often form communities based around their lineages.
