This week we have lot of smaller improvements that nevertheless have a big impact on your campaign.
This week's blog post explores the idea of Sorting.
General
- The characters list and the players overview are now both sorted with natural ordering. This means that "Droid 10" goes after "Droid 2", which makes it easier to find player characters in the list.
- The page and thread lists on the tag pages are now ordered more naturally. This means that "Session 10" goes after "Session 2", which is how it should be.
Wiki
- Made the type links at the top-right (such as "Person" or "Location") link to the the namespace index for that type (instead of to the schema page for that type). This makes it easier to navigate the wiki and find other people or locations.
- Slightly reworked the index navigation to include icons, and change the headers to focus more on the type of thing your looking at, instead of the namespace you're in. This should be a small improvement to the index as a navigation tool.
- Removed the canonical names from index annotations. Now, the index only shows a short (title) or (alias) note, instead of the more complex "(alias of Hugh Halperton)". This helps make clean up the visual clutter in the index, which makes it easier to use.
Formatted Text
- Removed the canonical names from the
[show:index]
listing to make them match the wiki index. This makes the listings less visually cluttered.
- Any listings produced by the
[show]
block are now sorted by natural order, which makes the output much more useful.
Custom Game System
- The custom game system now supports configuring which dice mechanics are available to roll. To do so, go to the configuration screen en pick 'Dice Mechanics'.
Pathfinder
- (Community suggestion) The pathfinder dice roller now has an option for rolling All Knowledges. This makes it easier to quickly roll every knowledge your character has, for example when the dungeon master doesn't want to give away the exact knowledge needed, or when investigating something unknown.
