This week we continue our Pathfinder-improvement streak with even more improvements to the bonus system. We have also completed a technical upgrade to the way links between pages are handled, leading to up to 50% faster wikipage saves on some campaigns. We have also started up our theme rework plans again, more on that to follow!

General

• We completed a technical rework of the way link rewriting and linking is done. This provides speed improvements of up to 50% when saving a wikipage or forum post.

• Cleaned out unused or nearly-unused colour schemes for the Default theme. The colour schemes "Autumn" and "Green" have been removed in preparation for our continuing theme rework.

Pathfinder

• We completed various technical cleanups in bonuses. This helps make them more flexible and adaptable, so we can more easily improve them.

• Bonuses can now be configured to add an Ability Modifier instead of a constant value, with the exceptions of Ability Scores and Ability Checks. This allows you to express things such as 'Add your Charisma modifier to your AC'.

• Bonuses can now be configured to add a fraction of your character level (i.e. 1/2 level, or 1/3 level).

• Bonuses now allow combining ability modifiers, character levels (or fractions thereof), and constant values. This makes it possible to create complex bonus calculations such as (1/2 character level + Str + 2).
  • We added an optional minimum and maximum to bonuses that allow you to limit the range of the final bonus, which allows expressing things like 'Your Constitution modifer, or 3, whichever is higher.'

• We added an option bonuses to override the base ability for skills, number of languages, concentration, save DCs, and most combat stats (flat-footed AC was skipped as it has no base ability). This allows for things like 'Use your Str modifier on Fortitude saves instead of your Con.'

Fixed Bugs

• Fixed an issue that prevent wikipages and character sheets from being created/edited in Pathfinder campaigns when on Safari 9. This has been fixed, and Safari 9 can once again save pages.

• Fixed a layout issue with the aligment of Health Tracks on the World of Darkness character sheet. The alignment has been fixed, and should now correctly align with other fields that are placed in the same column.
