This week we continued work on improving support for the World of Darkness system (including an experimental split into WoD and nWoD). On the chat front we added masks support to the chat, bringing you all the features of masks you already know from the forums to the chat! This week's blog post elaborates on the chat masks.
Chat
- Added support for masks: player character masks are available to all players, any NPC that is playable by you can be used as a mask, and custom masks can be created for ad-hoc situations.
- Masks are "put on" as an active action, and everyone in the room will be notified that you switched masks. The sidebar will also update accordingly, so players in other rooms can see which character is where.
- The chat learned how the
enter
key works, and now send your chat message when you hit it. To add a newline to your message, useshift + enter
.
Pathfinder
- Languages are now reorderable in the game system configuration.
World of Darkness
This week's focus for WoD is supporting multiple creature types in the same campaign.
- You can now add per type custom fields to the header of a character sheet. This makes it much easier to support multiple types of creatures in a single campaign, by allowing you to customize that fields to show in the sheet.
- All WoD sheets will now have a Rituals entry, filed under. The title of the field can be set per creature type. This makes it possible to have vampires with Rituals, werewolfs with Rites, etc.
- Energy and Willpower fields can now be configured per creature type, as well as any other "energy source" that has a permanent and temporary rating.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that prevent you from viewing campaign player profiles if the profile listed characters that have no character sheet and you were allowed to create those character sheets.
- Fixed a bug that caused certain custom masks to become unselectable under the very specific circumstances. This bug only occurred when created a custom mask, and had already created more posts with that custom mask, then went back and edited the post that originally created the mask to have a
(new custom mask)
. This new custom mask would then not show up in the list of available masks.
- Fixed a but that caused errors for previews with
[show]
blocks that have one or more lines inside of them that RPGpad does not understand. This has been fixed, and your preview now shows you the correct information to help you fix the[show]
.
