This week we finished the Wanted Pages feature. With it came a several minor technical fixes, some of which you might run into.
As always, we greatly appreciate any feedback you have!
Wanted Pages
- The list of wanted pages no longer shows links coming from removed pages and threads. All pages listed as wanted pages are now wanted because they are linked from currently existing places.
- For each wanted page the places linking to it are shown allowing you to investigate. This helps you to get a better idea of the context of the link, which in turn helps with making sure the wanted page can easily be created with the right content.
- If the wanted page is used as more than a link in the text, this is shown with the wanted page. This provides even more context information to help create the wanted page.
- The system now notifies you if a wanted page looks a lot like an already existing page. A simple misspelling happens from time to time, and the system now automatically detects when this appears to be the case. The wanted page is still listed as wanted, but a special "Fix links" option is offered so you can quickly correct misspelled links.
Technical
- Fixed linking to "custom data schemas". Custom data schemas are the things that define the types of wikipages you can make, such "Person" or "Location". You can now link to those corrrectly by using the "Schemas" as the link target, should you want to. For example, Schemas>Person would link to the Person description.
- Added "custom data schemas" overview. While this overview is not linked directly right now, you can get to it by either adding /schemas/ to your campaign URL, or by clicking to it via the page of a specific schema. For example, the schema overview of the FWURG campaign can be found at https://rpgpad.com/c/fwurg/schemas/.
